Hi there! I’m Takkie mini dachshund, a small blond bundle of energy from the Netherlands. I may be tiny, but my personality is enormous.
I’m a mini cream dachshund who speaks Dutch, French, and the universal language of puppy eyes, and I’m officially the co-pilot of First Class Boarding Pass. Wherever my human mother goes, I follow, tail wagging, ready to explore luxury destinations and share my dachshund POV on life, travel, and style. From airports to vineyards and city streets, I travel in comfort but never forget to add a touch of dachshund charm.
My Story: How I Became a Reinvention Co-Pilot
In March 2023, I was adopted by my human mother. For her, bringing me home wasn’t just a decision of the heart, it marked the first step in her reinvention journey.
Until then, her world revolved entirely around international luxury hospitality, dedicated to delivering five-star service to her teams and guests. I, Takkie mini dachshund, arrived with my wagging tail and sparkling eyes to remind her that life is not only about meetings, quality standards, and guest satisfaction… but also about slow mornings together, meaningful escapes, and the little rituals that make each day feel first-class and unforgettable.
My Lifestyle: Spoiled but Stylish
As the only child in the family, I’ll admit it: I’m spoiled. With my irresistible puppy eyes and signature mini dachshund stubbornness, I (almost) always get what I want.
But I’m also a travel dachshund, I never leave my human mother’s side. Wherever my human boards, I board. Together, we explore timeless destinations and redefine authentic luxury travel, one paw at a time.
My Favorite Escapes
- Les Sources de Caudalie (Bordeaux) – I love wandering in the forest and cycling (well, I sit in the basket) through the vineyards.
- Castelfalfi Tuscany – where I chase sunsets painting the hills gold.
- Other Adventures – Exploring cobblestone streets, sniffing local markets, and making new friends is my specialty.
What Makes Me Bark
Almost everthing, because after all, I’m a mini dachshund.
But what really make me go completely barking mad are cats and all countryside animals domestic or wild, the moment I see them, I transform into a tiny but fierce guardian of the fields.
It’s in my blood, my ancestors were hunters, bred to chase and bark with determination. I like to think I’m keeping the tradition alive, just with a bit more style and a lot more luxury in the mix.
A Little Limitation
As much as I’d love to join Michelin-starred tables, I can’t test the restaurants. I have allergies and follow a special diet. But I savor the ambiance, design and people, living the luxury dachshund lifestyle in my own way. I focus on experiences, smells, and new adventures rather than food, though a tiny treat now and then never hurts!
